Plain-Clothes Police And Demonstrators

Sir,—Like S. G. Fitchett, I, too, am curious to know how offensive one is allowed to become before being charged with either insulting language or offensive behaviour. I think this socalled Progressive Youth Movement, far from being progressive, is very juvenile. From what 1 have observed, some of them look as If they are hardly dry behind the ears, and the back of a hair brush applied In the right place might possibly do a lot of good. It Is high time these crackpot demonstrations were barred, and given no publicity to encourage them.—Yours, etc., GRANDMA. September 19, 1969.
