Mr A. C. Wright, of Dunsandel, has been elected a producer representative on the Meat Board.—(PA.)
Mr R. Hamilton, of Lower Hutt, has been elected president of the National Council of Parent-Teacher Federations. Members elected to the executive include Messrs P. Senior (Canterbury), and G. Goldsack (Marlborough). -(P.A.)
Mr T. F. Perkin, branch manager of the Norwich Union Fire Insurance Society, Ltd, and Mr F. G. McKechnie, branch manager of the South British Insurance Company, Ltd, have retired. They were entertained at a farewell function held by the Insurance Association of Christchurch.
