Stewart). The staff of eight have been retained. Negotiations bad been under way for some years to buy toe firm to allow space for extension to P.D.L. Industries, Ltd, which adjoins E. J. Ruddick, Ltd, in Hazeldean Road, Mr Stewart said last evening. A substantial area of land was involved and toe frontage was zoned heavy industrial, which made it valuable, he said. However, PD.L. still had considerable room for extensions and the property would not be needed for this purpose in the foreseeable future.
