PLANE CRASH
<N.z: Press Assn—Copy rlghtl LUSAKA, August 26.! The personal aircraft Of President Kenneth Kaunda of Zambia, crashed in flames while taking off from Lusaka’s international airport today. | It is understood that the possibility of sabotage is being investigated.
The President was not aboard the plane at the time; he was addressing‘a news conference. Four white men, all believed to be Britons, were killed, and another is in hospital, believed seriously injured. r
The Zambian Government has imposed a complete ban on information about the crash.
The plane, a HawkerSiddeley 748, was flown by members of the Zambian Air Force, most of the pilots in which are seconded from the Royal Air Force.
