CORRUPTION ALLEGED
Indonesians Arrested (N.Z.P.A. -Reuter—Copyright) DJAKARTA, August 24. Fifty-five Indonesian customs officials have been dismissed from office for alleged corruption, the Director-Gen-eral of Customs (Mr Padang Sudirdjo) said yesterday’. Some of the officials were being interrogated and might have to face trial. Firm action would be taken against those found guilty of aiding smugglers, he said.
