JUGOSLAV WAGGONS
First Due In September (N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Aug. 19. An order for 1600 railway waggons from a Jugoslav firm should be completed by the end of October .said the assistant manager of railways, engineering Mr H. Z. Purchase). Delivery was about seven months behind time but the first consignment should arrive in New Zealand next month, he said.
Mr Purchase said he had visited the firm and found that the delays had been caused by production troubles.
