Protection Of Infirm
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Aug. 21. A bill enabling Magistrates to make interim orders to protect the property of persons who, because of age, illness or infirmity, are unable to look after their affairs properly, was introduced in Parliament this week. Introducing th® Aged and Infirm Persons Protection Amendment Bill, the Attorney-General (Mr Marshall) said the measure was consequential on the passing of the Mental Health Bill which will come into force on April 1 next year.
