FINAL VOTES
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter— copwrieht; NEW DELHI, Aug. 21. The final tally of votes, including those of the Central Parliament and State legislatures, for the three main candidates in India’s Presidential election were: Deshmukh 58,176, 112,769. Giri 208,784, 401,515. Reddy 154,368, 313,548. Since no candidate got an absolute majority, second preference votes were counted. With the second preference votes counted, the final tally was: Giri 420,077. Reddy 405,427.
