Bulls Sold For About $7000
rpHIS trio of Aberdeen Angus bulls,, bred by Messrs Alan and Alistair Elliott, of Alton Downs, Awatere Valley, are involved in one of the biggest stud stock deals to be made in the district in recent years. All sons of the imported Scottish sire, Eudaron of Candacraig, they are destined for Australia, North Canterbury and the Marlborough east coast. In total they have realised about $7OOO. On the left is Brackenfield Edwin Errant, which has
been bought -by the Denniston Pastoral Company, of Australia, which imported a bull from Brackenfield before the days of the stock import embargo. In the centre is Euradon 4 of Brackenfield, which has been sold to Mr G. Chisnail, of North Can-
terbury, and on the right is Prince of Brackenfield, which has ben purchased by Messrs Murray Brothers, of Wharanui station and stud.
The sale was negotiated by the stock department of Dalgety and New Zealand Loan, Blenheim.
