Teak Injures Leg
/ CN.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. T«ak„ the top-weight for the Wellington Steeplechase today, was scratched last night after injuring .himself on the trip from Pending to Trtntham. Teak’s owner-trainer, Hiss F. White, said last night the gelding was bucking and kicking in his trailer' and kicked his near hind leg over a partition and bruised the cannon bone. After veterinary attention at Trentham there is hope that Teak might be able to contest the Biddlford Steeplechase next Saturday.
