Superannuation Study
A Statistics Department survey of private superannuation funds is in its final stages of analysis and the results for the 1967-68 year will be published soon, says the annual report of the Government Statistician (Mr J. V. T. Baker), tabled in Parliament today. The report says that by 1967-68 about 3400 private schemes had been approved by the Inland Revenue Department and it was thought opportune to obtain some information “in this growing and important link of New Zealand’s financial sector.”— (P.A.).
