State officials next week will reconsider a decision not to send a coach to New Zealand with the New South Wales swimming team in August. Mr R. A. Float, secretary of the New South Wales Amateur Swimming Association, said yesterday the education and coaching committee disagreed with the board of management’s decision that only a manager and chaperon should accompany the swimmers.
The 18-member squad of open and age swimmers will leave for New Zealand on August 21. It will contest meetings in Christchurch, Wellington and Hamilton during its 10-day tour.
