AUCKLAND, July 4.

The freighter Amalric, stranded in Auckland for nearly a fortnight by a strike among Chinese crew members, is headed for Auckland again after little more than a day at sea.

A telegraphist on board the freighter has been taken ill and is being brought to Auckland. The Amalric is expected to arrive on Sunday afternoon.
