Air Commodore Seeking Seat

AUCKLAND, July 3. The retiring air officer commanding R.N.Z.A.F; .operations group, Air Commodore T. F. Gill, is to seek the National Party nomination for the reconstituted Waitemata seat. The seat includes both the Whenuapai and Hobsonville air bases. Air Commodore Gill, who unsuccessfully sought the Rodney nomination, is the fourth announced candidate for the Waitemata nomination. The others are Mr T. J. Power, Mr D. R. Stone, and Mrs R. C. Double.

Nominations opened today. The selection will be made on August 18.
