(N.Z. Press Association)

AUCKLAND.

F. Taupola, the national middle-weight professional boxing champion, wants to claim the vacant New Zealand light-heavyweight title. His manager (Mr J. Post) said today that K. Mahanga and E. Wulf had no right to fight for the title. “They could fight in an elimination bout to meet Taupola for the title," he said. “Fred has beaten Mahanga twice and he will fight Wulf at any weight."
