WELLINGTON, July 3. Superintendent L. D. Bridge, who has been leading the search in the Tararua Ranges for Constable Lester John Tweeddale, will return to the search area tomorrow morning from Wellington with 18 fresh men, to bring the search party to 50. Cold weather continued to hinder searchers. Superintendent Bridge said. In the last week 12 to 15 square miles of rugged country had been searched in the Mount Holdsworth area.

The general search along creeks, ridges and through bush would continue, he said.
