Overtime Ban
Christchurch City Council vehicle testing station staff would not work overtime until a dispute over wages was settled, the secretary of the Engineers' and Belated Trades Union (Mr L. Fortune) said yesterday. The staff felt the City Council had a moral obligation to pass a ruling fate survey increase on to them, he said. A meeting on the dispute would be held today.
