U.K. Abortions Figure
(N.Z. Press Assn. —Copyright) LONDON, June 18. More than 41,000 abortions have been carried out in Britain since such operations were made legal in April, 1968.
The Secretary of State for the Social Services (Mr Richard Crossman) told Parliament yesterday that the precise figure to May 27 of this year was 41,496.
