One Ticket On Egmont Treble
(N.Z. Press Association) HAWERA. An Auckland man, Mr G. S. Peters, held the only winning ticket at yesterday’s concession treble. Mr Peters had 14 entries, and in one of them he selected three winners, Chanterelle, Destino, and Foxonewa. The pool was worth $1234. After Chanterelle had won there were 321 live tickets of the 2468 taken, but after Destino won the Egmont Hack and Hunters’ Steeplechase, only two tickets were left.
