(N.%. Press Association) AUCKLAND. The gate for the WalesNew Zealand test on Saturday was a New Zealand record," Mr R. M. Don, the chairman, told the Auckland Rugby Union management committee last night. Gate-takings received so far, said Mr Don, were *114,000 and this would increase when the final receipts came in. The previous record was the *ll4OOO paid by spectators at the France-New Zealand test at Eden Park last year.
