BENEFACTOR DIES
(N.Z. Press Association) WANGANUI, June 16. One of Wanganui’s greatest benefactors, Mr Percy Higginbottom, died suddenly at his Raumati home early this morning. He was 85. The owner of a chain of furniture stores in the late 1930 s and 19405, Mr Higginbottom gave almost $50,000 to local charities after his retirement in 1961,
