Law Schools’ Mooting
Two University of Canter bury law students, Messrs A M. Shea and J. P. Johnston, were runners-up in the an nual Australian and New Zealand law schools mooting tournament in Adelaide last week. Mr Shea was also judged the best individual speaker from the 11 law schools represented. In the preliminary rounds the Canterbury team defeated Sydney, Monash and Auckland law schools, losing in the final round to Victoria University of Wellington.
