Parliament’s Diary
The Leader of the United Kingdom Opposition (Mr Heath) was on the floor of the House when Parliament began yesterday afternoon after a State luncheon in his honour. Ministers answered 26 questions, after which the House had its first discussion on written and oral questions previously answered. The Criminal Justice Amendment Bill and the Status of Children Bill were committed. The Tokelau Islands Amendment Bill was given a second reading. The House proceeded with other legislation.
