Education And Alcohol
Sir, —Now that our system of education is under discussion, I would like to put forward a strong plea that the children of the fifth and sixth standard should be educated regarding the disastrous effects of alcohol on the human body. This could be done by illustrations shown on television. Also, why not include some in their textbooks? This might help others who tould see them also. Are we being really fair to them by ignoring this important matter? Surely this is the least we should do.—Yours, etc., M. E. WILSON. May 15, 1969.
