Programme Rejected,

WELLINGTON, May 13.
Mr T. F. A. Shankland, controller of television programmes, repeated today that the church-commissioned programme, “Man and his Politics,” had been rejected because it was not up to standard. The chairman of the Cen-i tral Regional Programme Advisory Committee, Mr E. G. Spraggon, said at a committee meeting yesterday that there was no guarantee that the standard of a programme partially produced by a group! of churchmen would be acceptable.
