GUILD PARTY HELD
The Christchurch North Townswomen’s Guild celebrated its twenty-third birthday recently. The president (Mrs R. C. Smith), welcomed Mrs C. G. Crawford, the Dominion president; Mesdames C. A. Smith and R. Allison, of the Dominion executive; and Mesdames J. Steinmetz, J. Russell and H. Blick from the area federation.
Other guests were 10 residents from “Resthaven,” and the guild’s sponsored giri fromTempieton Hospital.
