Record Audience At Competitions

Attendance increased again on the second day of the Christchurch competitions. A record of 1461 attended, and 787 people paid to see the dancing section alone. This number was greatly increased by competitors and non-paying members.

On Saturday 673 of a total attendance of 1150 paid to see the dancing. Takings, at $234, were up $29 on last year. The judges for the five main soections are:—Mr R.
