Bumside High School

Sir, —I shall be glad if you will rectify an omission in your report of our end-of-term assembly. The pupils of Burnside High School were good enough to present Mrs Cross and me with a delightful landscape in oils by William Moore. This will be a continual source of pleasure to us, not only because of its beauty but much more because of the feelings which prompted them to make the gift. I feel that recognition of their warm-hearted generosity is due to them.—Yours, etc.,

C. CROSS, Headmaster, Burnside High School. May 10, 1969.
