N.Z.-CHINA SOCIETY
The New Zealand-China Society is keen to invite official visitors from China to the Dominion to assist in improving relations between the countries.
This is one of several remits which will be discussed by the biennial national conference of the society in Christchurch next week-end. Usually national conferences are held in Wellington. Other remits include requests that the Government be asked to seek diplomatic relations with the People’s Republic of China and that the national executive organise a public petition asking the Government to take this step.
