Competitions Watched By Large Audiences

More entries than last year have been received in the fifty-seventh annual Christ church competitions being held this week.

The ballet and tap-dancing sections have received the most entries. Cold weather on Saturday failed to deter keen spectators—mainly parents. Receptive audiences greeted performers at all five venues— Shirley Boys* High School, Shirley Methodist Church Hall, Shirley Intermediate School, Banks Avenue School, and the 3ZB studio.
