Crean—Palmer The engagement is announced between Terence William, third son of Mr T. J. Crean, and the late Mrs. Crean, of Christchurch, New Zealand, to Jean Anne, only daughter of Mr and Mrs Rex Palmer, Christchurch, Hampshire, England.

Higgins—Rees: Mrs R. E. Rees, 250 Park Road, Palmerston North, has much pleasure in announcing the engagement of her eldest daughter, Anne Hilda Jane, to John Joseph, eldest son of Mr and Mrs W. E. Higgins, 180 Kawaha Point Road, Rotorua.
