“Natural Look” Make-up
The only time I do approve of nudity la in makeup. The so called nakedeye, the flesh-tints, the natural hair, and the “no make-up look,” should definitely be applauded, Norman Hartnell nays. It is about time we pensioned off the Painted Doll and allowed in Miss Natu-ral-even If the tetter takes
quite as tong over her “no makeup” took as the Painted Doll did. My models have been using lipsticks which give gloss or tint, not colour, for some time. Now, a gel foundation is about to hunch Itself on cosmetic counters. Apparently it gives a transparent colour to tint
your skin, but does not coat it, which is technically quite an achievement I am pleased to see that the colours, of which there are four, are specially designed to wear with fashion’s new colours. It is certainly about time that beauty and fashion Anns started to work more closely together.
