RAIL-CAR LATE
The rail-car between the West Coast and Christchurch was 30 minutes late arriving in Christchurch last night because of a power failure on the line between Arthur’s Pass and Cass about 8.30 p.m. The rail-car arrived in Christchurch at 11.40 p.m.
