Accidents At Week-End
Strack By Car.—Head and internal injuries were suffered by Martin Dunn, of 28 Domain Terrace, when he was struck by a car in Lincoln Road outside the Black Horse Hotel early on Saturday evening. He was admitted to the resuscitation ward of the Christchurch Hospital. His condition was reported last evening as fairly comfortable. Members of the motor accident inquiry branch at the Central Police Station want to interview any persons who witnessed the accident. Car Hits Pole.—When a car hit a pole in Cathedral Square near Warners Hotel about 4 a.m. yesterday James Wenmoth, of 356 Lincoln Road, suffered leg and head injuries. He was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital.
Two Injured.—After a car struck a pole in Middleton Road, Upper Ricearton, about 11 a.m. yesterday, Stephen Grose, aged two, of 71 Middleton Road, was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital suffering from head injuries. Mrs Marie Grose, of the same address, was treated for head and leg injuries at the casualty department.
