Sir,—Another increase has been granted by the Government to social security beneficiaries, and rightly so. The purchasing power of their allowances has been recognised as having shrunk in relation to the rising cost of living. But what of the superannuitants, particularly those having retired some years ago? They have paid into both superannuation and social security, but of course are entitled to one only.
