Returning Swimmers
Sir,—The photograph in 1 yesterday’s issue of our, young athletes on their return | from Canada was delightful, j and, to me, inspiring. They 1 looked so well groomed, radi- j antly happy, physically fit, , and proud to have represent- , ed New Zealand, reflecting, j of course, some small recompense for years of hard work, self-discipline, training, and sacrifices. Our nation is very well served by such fine young people. They are worthy ambassadors.
