UNIVERSITY VACANCIES MASSEY UNIVERSITY PALMERSTON NORTH LABORATORY TECHNOLOGIST APPLICATIONS are invited for the above position in the microbiology section of the Animal Health Department. An experienced laboratory technician is required to take charge of the veterinary microbiology diagnostic laboratory. This laboratory deals with a wide variety of interesting material, and provides a comprehensive laboratory service for the Veterinary Faculty. The appointee will be expected to take on a considerable measure of responsibility and will be required to have had experience in either veterinary or medical microbiology. Applicants should hold an honours degree or equivalent higher degree and have had some experience in the study and teaching of religion at the tertiary level. Preference may be given to applicants with special interests in one or both of the following fields: Phenomenology of Religion. History of Religion and Religious Thought. The successful applicant will be required to plan an undergraduate programme consonant with his special field of interest and to give lectures and tutorials at the undergraduate level.
