DUTIES: Installing telephones; erecting radio towers and aerials; correcting telephone faults; erecting poles and assisting engineers in design work. QUALIFICATIONS: Total of 180 marks in School Certificate including three subjects with 50 per cent or two subjects with 50 per cent and two with 40 per cent, OR a total of 225 marks in five subjects. A minimum of 30 per cent in English and 50 per cent in mathematics and physics or general science is required.
