$420 Taken
Thieves who broke into Wood’s Service Station, Waterloo Road, on Wednesday night stole $420 in cash and some cheques from a safe.
Property worth $230 was stolen from a builder’s shed in Kauri Street and in other burglaries on the same night a power cycle was taken from Salvation Army premises in Victoria Square and $l5 in money was taken from an Emmett Street house.
