Sir, —Thank you for your full report on our discussions with the Postmaster-General on the subject of the replacement of the Christchurch Chief Post Office, and for all your .help in our campaign. May I point out that the approach to the Prime Minister is to be made not by the Chamber of Commerce alone,
but by the Combined Post Office Action Committee, comprising the Chamber of Commerce, Manufacturers’ Association, Retailers’ Association, Employers’ Association, Progress League, Christchurch Jaycees, Christchurch City Council, and the Waimairi and Paparua County Councils. —Yours, etc., JOHN STEWART, Chairman, Combined Post Office Action Committee.
