Graphic Art Exhibition
An exhibition of graphic art is being held by students of the Canterbury University School of Fine Arts in the Exhibition Centre, White Hart Arcade.
The work will probably be of most interest to people involved in advertising, packaging, television and marketing but this exhibition is worth a visit from members of the public at large. Displayed are several posters, some excellent book jackets, two with the theme of “Butterflies of New Zealand,” a number of set designs for television and a variety of letterheads. A photographic essay by Graham Bennett involving a team of eight Clydesdale horses is well done. Some sort of catalogue readily at hand would be of assistance in helping to identify who was responsible for individual works. The exhibition will close on May 9.—G.T.M.
