Sunday Schools Combine
The Sunday schools of St Paul’s Presbyterian Church, Cashel Street, and the Trinity Congregational Church, Manchester Street, will join together for classes at St Paul’s from the beginning of next term. The minister of St Paul’s (the Rev. L. Jones) said that the two churches had had a close association for some time and for the last year regular combined church services had been held.
Another step towards the union of the two churches would be taken at a special service to be held at St Paul’s on May 25, when the two congregations would enter into a convenant, said Mr Jones. This would show the wish of both churches for a closer relationship.
