Lifeboat To Be Bought
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 7. The Wellington Lifeboat Institution will call tenders for a 44ft steel lifeboat From various types of available craft a sub-commlt-tee has recommended a motor craft designed by the United States Coast Guard and modified by the Royal National Lifeboat Institution. Prices will be considered for the craft, fully complete and subject to satisfactory sea trials, from manufacturers in New Zealand, the United States, Britain and Japan, by November 30 this year.
