New M.C.C. President
(N.Z.P.A. -Reuter— Copyright) LONDON. Mr Maurice Allom, the former Surrey and England cricketer, is to be the next president of the M.C.C. His appointment was announced after the M.C.C.’s annual meeting at Lord’s yesterday. He will start his duties in October. Mr Allom played in five tests for England, one against South Africa and four against New Zealand.
