Womene’s Basketball Top Teams To Meet
Teachers’ College will have a chance to show the depth of its improvement this season when it meets the strong Sacred Heart team in the fourth round of the Canterbury Basketball Association matches on Saturday. Both teams have lost one game this season, but Sacred Heart should win because of the experience ~of its attack and the steadiness of its play. The other three games Hagley Bv. Technical, St Nicholas v. New Brighton and Cashmere v. Hagley A should not be close games. St Nicholas, which has yet to win, plays the leading team New Brighton; Technical, although it lost to Hagley A, will be too fast for Hagley B; and Hagley A, after a brilliant game with New Brighton last week, will have a far less formidable opponent in Cashmere.
