Overtime Ban Lifted
Carpet workers at the factory of Felt and Textiles Carpets, Ltd, Riccarton, yesterday lifted the seven-week-old ban they had imposed on overtime.
The secretary of the Riccarton branch of the Carpet Workers’ Union (Mr G. Mitchinson) said that 150 workers at the factory had agreed to resume overtime to enable proceedings in the Arbitration Court to go ahead.
