Adelaide Cup To Gnapur
(N.Z. Press Association) ADELAIDE. Last year’s winner, the New Zealand-bred Fulmen, tired badly and could only finish eleventh in the two mile 116.540 Adelaide Cup at Morphetville yesterday. The race was won by the 13 to 4 favourite, Gnapur, which broke the South Australian record by two seconds. Debhel Boy (11 to 2) was second. with Arctic Coast (9 to 2) third. The race, run in fine weather on a fast track, took 3min 21sec.
