Yachting Award
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. The “Yachtsman ot the Year ' trophy was won by the Olympic representative, G. A. Smale, last night. Presenting the Bernard Fergusson Trophy to Smale, the Governor-General, Sir Arthur Porrltt, said: "Smale is welt known overseas and has done a great deal to put New Zealand on the map."
