Time Trial On May 29
Miss Heather will make an attempt on the mile record for two-year-old trotters at Addington Raceway on Thursday, May 29. The time trial, sponsored by the Canterbury Trotting Owners and Breeders’ Association, will take place at 1 p.m. The record of 2min 8 2-ssec is held by Westland King, which recorded his time in 1966.
a filly by Lumber Dream from Russley Maid, Miss Heather is trained at West Melton by J. D. Lltten for Mr M. Tananbaum; of New York. Lltten trained and drove Westland King when he set his record.
