Girl Guide Awards
An original pen and wash drawing of Cracroft House has beep presented to the Giri Guides Association by Mrs Stewart Mair. The presentation was made at a gathering held atUracroft House for girl guide commissioners from, throughout North Canterbury." Two awards were presented. Mrs H. Grigg, of Culverden, a divisional commissioner for north-west Canterbury for 10 years, received the Medal of Merit for exceptional good service to the movement. The New Zealand Good Service award was given to Mrs A. A. Macfariane, of Rotherham, who has been a district commissioner for the Amuri district for 10 years.
